Bondi Markets Magic

Who was at the Bondi Markets on the weekend? Wasn’t it totally perfect!

The Saturday Farmers Markets saw sunshine in abundance, great music, yummy meals (hello corn fritters!), quality local produce and a wonderful community spirit.

You would have also noticed a stall by Grow It Local – a new project celebrating backyard, balcony, community and windowsill food farming (yes, that’s our sill-based Basil below!).

The GIL gang were bombarded by oft-bearded Bondi garden buffs depositing their home-grown produce for the Local Growers Supper. The Supper is over but I’m sure it won’t be the last (sorry, I just had to). Like them here on Facey to keep in the loop.

And then sunny Sunday! There’s nothing quite like cruising the Bondi Markets. For those in the ever-flustered east, it’s your chance to slow your pace, put a smile on your face, browse and breathe…

Either that or quit your demanding day job and start up a market stall.

Yours in marketplace magic…
